Invitation to breeders, vets and other interested parties!

As a result of research conducted at Mont-le-Soie with the support of the Walloon Region and the collaboration of Walloon breeders and veterinarians, Raphaël Van Cauter and the Mont-le-Soie team have been able to publish a series of scientific articles on osteochondrosis in sport horses.

Several elements of interest to breeders, prevention and selection have been identified.

The results of the research carried out in recent years will be presented at the public defence of Raphael's thesis on 4 February.

Thesis title: 'Studying the dynamics of equine osteochondrosis and the factors influencing its development in sport horses'.

Date and place of defence: The public defence will take place on Tuesday 4 February 2025 at 16:30 in the Séminaire co-modale room (B41, route 56) of the Université de Liège.
