Qolombo Diamant, ridden by Roland Quoidbach, showed us we were right to believe in him : in 2014, he went from 80cm eventing shows until international 1 shows in just one season. He then went onto competing at 2* level in 2016.
Because of a fetlock he broke as a foal, Qolombo wasn't able to use his full potential. He still proved to be very brave, competitive and resilient until 3* level and is now competing at Junior level under the saddle of Quentin Champon.
Quolombo's dam, Quistria des Pins, produced 4 approved stallions in various stud books, including Jah’s Diamant.
Quistria des Pins is Opaline des Pins' full sister, dam to Olympic stallions such as Jus de Pomme, Trésor, Quintus, Richebourg, Shogoun (sire to Opgun Louvo cci****)
His sire is Querlybet Hero, a clever cross between two jumping sires Baloubet du Rouet x Darco on a great lineage in this discipline. Querlybet is, among others, sire to Eddy Wally which took part in the Mondial du Lion (cci) and Eloubet which competes at 3* level with K. Donckers.
Qolombo has eventing and showjumping performers in his dam's and sire's lineage, which makes him a rising value in the eventing world.
