Mont-le-Soie is taking part in a 4-year European project which began in the spring of 2023. On June 12 and 13, the face-to-face Kick-off meeting took place at the Haras du Pin. On the program, meeting different partners and working on the first work packages of the project.

The overall objective is defined as such:

Increase the resilience and performance of equine farms to face environmental, social, health, economic or political crises by widely disseminating practices, tools and solutions that improve

(1) their resilience and socioeconomic performance,

(2) animal welfare and health on farms,

(3) the environmental sustainability of the sector.Mont-le Soie fulfills the role of national coordinator and is involved in various tasks. In the coming weeks, contacts will be made with various players in the sector to expand the Belgian network affiliated to EUnetHorse.
