Jebeland Pontadour is a racing Anglo-Arabian stallion. His offspring perform very well in various disciplines. He was elected best AA racing stallion in 2014 thanks to the great results of his offspring in showjumping and dressage.
He was born in Pontadour's stud, owned by Mr François Maillot. He started his breeding career within National Studs.
Thanks to his physical and psychological qualities combined with very interesting line, he has also drawn the attention of eventing breeders over the years. Indeed, his daughter Stanleyville successfully participated in the Mondial du Lion d'Angers in the 7yo category in 2013 under the saddle of the German Kai-Steffen Meier, and Tsego D'ayza AA: Jebeland Pontadour x Le pigeon, ridden in YH shows by T. Carlile then 4* in the UK) . A common feature of his offspring is his calm and collected character and his ease of use while being very energetic and full of stamina.
His sire, Fast, is sire to many excellent high-level eventing horses. The most famous one probably is Lanacan, ridden by Edouard Legendre in CCI 3 and 4*. Fast also is grandsire, through his son Tassili d'Elpégère, of Haston d'Elpégère - ridden by JR Adde at the Hong-Kong Olympic Games and of Walnut de Petra AA (Fast x Fayriland) ridden by Eric Vigeanel up until World Cups !
His dam's sire is the great Ramouncho which, just like Fast, left a very important footprint on racing AA horses as well as on eventing horses through Jean Teulère's amazing mare 'Amouncha' (Sidney
Olympic Games).
Then there is Fayriland which was very important in the Anglo Arabian racing (Roseau d'or, etc) and sports (jumping and eventing; see Hobby du Mée, David de la Brunie, Prima d'Or, Graves, etc) worlds.
Jebeland is a stallion which, while keeping frame and sports ability, will add energy and shape to your lines.
